"This is a popular soup at Chinese restaurants in Holland. This is my version of a sweet and spicy soup I had recently at a wok restaurant in Eindhoven, enjoy!"

- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1/2 cup applesauce
- 2 stalks celery, thinly sliced
- 1 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/4 teaspoon chili powder
- 1 green onion, thinly sliced
- 1 cup shrimp chips (prawn crackers)
